We should have it where there will be lots of people or close to a busy street. We need to make a bigger presence. When we started Sonic was nice, but it just got too small for us. Crown Burger was alright, the only people that can see our cars are people who are going to eat at Crown Burger. Maybe a more popular diner or restaurant where more people will be there. I don't know Utah very well, so those that live in those areas that have more expertise can share their knowledge and ideas about where a good place will be. I agree with you & that makes perfect sense. I have always been up for getting more exposure. Here is an idea, meet up at Fashion Place Mall in front by state street & Cheesecake Factory to allow others time to catch up and than cruise down the street 1 mile to Hooters or somewhere to grab a bite near Ft Union or Murray. Both locations are very visible with lot of traffic. i have said and will say it again... The district! That place is always packed I imagine we will have one at the district once In& Out opens up. We can do the same there. Meet at District and than cruise over to In & Out. As far as the place, I'll leave it up to someone that know that area better then I do. I agree with Ben, we need to find a place we can draw some attention from. What time, 7:00pm? Would 7pm be too late for most. Lets hear what the consensus is. I am game for 6, but 7 pm would work for me too. After all, I live in the valley, more concern for the folks traveling from the other directions. |

How about 6:30 to 9? The district would be good, let's plan on that next month.

In-N-Out probably won't be a good idea for awhile. Knowing how much people might like it and how busy I've always seen In-N-Out, we will never find a parking spot. They only way I can think of getting a parking spot right away is if we talk to the manager and tell him about our M&G and have him block off parking spots for us.

i like the idea of this month doing a meet at the mall like you said then going to hooters so thats my input i should be there either way...

If we can get a head count of those that plan on staying and eating I'll call the restaurant and make reservations (if the take reservations) for 7:00pm or 7:30pm (depending on how long we want to hang out in the parking lot).
For those that need the address, it is 7157 State St, Midvale, UT 84047.
For those that are planning on coming down from the North, we can meet in Layton and cruise down together if you want.

Fashion Place Mall on 6191 State St, right out front by cheesecake factory & Nordstrom at 630pm Sept 24th. If you need directions, let me know. 2 easy ways to get to from Freeway. Lookinf forward to meeting everyone and checking out some rides. Now that we have it set in stone, lets invite the MOU guys and if anyone wants to PM or send out emails that would be great. Well Hooters is very visable being right on state, has a large parking lot and has awesome wings.
My vote is for Hooters.

We may get more than 20 cars this time around. Post or PM if you plan on coming so we can make sure there is enough seating reserved for us at Hooters.
