Christian is just messing with us. He is just joking. He will be there ;D I think 99% of the people attend M&G's to check out everyones cars, not eat..... Thats what i though hooters would be a good location. I think i only ate once at crown and a few times at sonics but thats outside. |

Iv'e seen all your cars, multiple times. To tell you the truth I base my decision of showing up to M&G's usually on the location of where we are eating. Me and the wife dont get to eat out very often but we use these as an excuse to do so. Applebee's or other cookie cutter chain restaurants dont appeal to us. Not that Hooters isn't but there is only one in the state and it's been years since we have gone there. We were actually looking forward to it.
My guess is that it was changed because certain people are offended by or not allowed to eat where scantly clothed women are serving their food. But I could be wrong.

It was actually changed for multiple reasons, but that is probably one of them. It's hard to find venues that appeal to everyone's taste, we just try to do the best we can.
I'm with you, I've seen everyone's cars, thou I do look forward to seeing the mod's everyone has done since the last one. But the main reason I look forward to these M&G's is it gives me a chance to spend time with friends and making new one's. Thou I do have to admit I like the attention we get from by passers at the M&G's too!

The attention is nice but we always seem to be back where nobody can see us. Right off State would have been a great location as well as in the District as others have mentioned.
And it is nice to catch up with friends.

But I could be wrong. Well Christian & Gordon, you haven't seen everyones car. Alot of new people planning on attending. Yes while you have seen most cars ,I think alot of folks have some new mods, Like Dave, Ben, Stephen, Mikey and Bryan as well as others. While food is a good thing, its not the determining factor if I attend. I personally like to meet others with same enthusiastic hobby for Mopars and cars.I would attend if the M&G if it was held at a SlopShop. I really hope ya and the wife can make it. They have 2 for $20 which is an appetizer and 2 main entrees. BTW How is Logan doing? Hope all is well and hope the family can make it. Mine will be there! |

I called Applebee's tonight and warned them we were coming. Wasn't sure just how many people were going to stay and eat, but at least they know we're coming and that we are going to be taking up parking spots. They didn't seem to have any issues with that.

But I could be wrong. . . . . . . .because of all the other epic restaurants in this state with the parking to accomodate several cars and a M&G. Get off your high horse and come have some fun with people that enjoy something you enjoy. .. . not to mention that there is nothing "scantily clothed" about the "women" at Hooters. . . walking 3 feet into the mall and I see more T'n'A than I ever have at Hooters. .. its just not good food. There's a reason there's only 1 Hooters in Utah and its not the retarded outfits. . . |
