So everyone, I just got off the phone with Jake at LH Miller CJD Southtowne Auto Mall( Super cool guy & he owns a Charger R/T as well ) and we were discussing replacing my current rear end gears. I currently have 3.07 gears which are pretty good, but 3.23 or 3.55 or even 3.91 will really wake my car up, of cource the downside, the higher I get the higher my RPM will stay at cruising speed, thats why the 4.11 guys with the older Mopars have a harder time on cruises. So here are the details, I would have to replace my Axle, Differential and Hub/halfshafts. Which I wanted to do anyways, the Differential is a full posi system, the Axle is beefer and the Hubs are a 33 larger spline(36teeth) vs my current 27 spline. The best part is that this whole system cost $1500 for parts. The Quaife Differential alone which is limited slip and not full posi is $1300 alone and the Halfshafts I priced are $2k and the Richmond gears are around $600.... So when Jake told me the full system was $1500, I wanted to go over there and write a check/charge a card.... I couldnt believe it, $1500 vs $3900.. Now who wants to help me install my next mod ;D ;D ;D

Chris, are you going to do this soon? I am interested in that swap also. Do you know if it messes with the electronic traction for winter drivers like me?
Either way I would like to see whats involved in this swap!

Either way I would like to see whats involved in this swap! Well hopefully soon, but dont know how much good it would do with snow around the corner and car parked in garage most of the winter, but at least it will be ready for spring . Probably going to be my last mod for the 2010 year as well. I really dont know how much it will mess with the Electronic Traction. I still have to order my Driveshaft loops, and I might as well replace brakepads too. I will know October 31st. I should be getting bout 250-300 sellable shares, depends on were the stock is on soon I get the setup. Keep fingers crosses eBay share prices is over $26 by that time... But will let you know and as always you are more than welcome to join Gordon, Ben & I and whoever else wants to come hang out, while we get this installed. Goal is to beat snowfall,we will see.

Let me know in advance if you could, I think it would be cool to see the inerds of the rear ends. I noticed that you were talking about EBC brake pads on another thread. That was the first thing I did to my car in May, I did the "bedding in" process but my brakes still make a little squeel when I go in reverse at low speeds until they are warmed up. As far as dust they are less than the stock but there is still noticable dust after a couple of days. I do believe they stop better than the stock pads, overall it's worth the difference

Hey Ed, Good to know bout the EBC pads. Did ya go with Red or Yellow? Main reason was all the brake dust, goodness. Will let you know in advance for sure bout the install.

So is the swap gonna happen at Gordon's? I may have to wonder over to watch/lend a hand too if you don't mind.

I bought the red ones front and rear. My fronts needed replaced but I did the rears also to reduce dust.
