So took it for a little spin this morning to the gym and boy do I love this new setup. I am having so much fun with getting on her too hard( still breaking in new gears). The car really get off the line like a beast. Feels like more horsepower and torque even though I know its not, its just better use of the powerband. As most SRT8 owners know, the weakest part of the powerband is the first 1800RPM, but with the new gears and 2800 Stall convertor. She feels like a street light to light monster. I wonder how much my 0-60 speed droped and what my new 60ft time is going to be at the track? Boy oh Boy, I cant wait. I love the true LSD set up too, feels like both wheels are getting more equal power to them. Anyone looking for more umph from the lower range, I would highly recommend getting a torque convertor. Best thing about it, Car is still very streetable, I dont even think my wife would notice the difference in the drive. Well maybe a little bit, but I will just tell her, its her giving it much off the line

I heard Wednesday night that your ride was done. Glad to hear that things worked out and you were able to get everything installed! Sounds like something I'll have to add on the list for the Mag down the road. Still have two other cars to finish before I can think about that however.
Have you notice much of a difference on Hwy gas mileage? Also how high did it raise your RPM's on the Hwy?

Have you notice much of a difference on Hwy gas mileage? Also how high did it raise your RPM's on the Hwy? It is a great mod, but I dont know about any long distance trips in the future like Vegas & such, unless you have extra money for gas. Ideal gears would have been 3.23 or 3.55. IMO, 3.73 maybe too much for highway driving especially longer distance. I cant imagine Sean's Super Bee with 4.10 gears. 3.73 would be ideal if we had 6 speed tranny. Went downtown Saturday, and I was crusing at 80MPH and I was at 3000RPMs. My Average MPG is now 13.2 but I am sure that is because of the new fun factor, at least thats what I hope. I am sure I wont get any better than 15MPG combine city/highway. Next time, we get together, I will let ya take her for a spin, so you can see & experience first hand. Congrats Chris! I'm happy everything worked out for ya. So what's next? Thanks, nothing new, as I have spent more money than I cared too. I still have my Mopar TCM upgrade to install for tighter & firmer shifts. I plan on picking up Phil's Drag Radials within few weeks and that is it for this & next year. But as long as it takes me to get something purchased & installed, I may want to start planning now, so I can get it down by Spring of 2012 ;D Next on wish list, is Stage 3 CNC machine ported/polished Intake Manifold and 90MM Thortlebody. Nice! So when can I get a ride in the beast? Anytime, just let me know when you got some time off.
