Hmm Elk burgers!! Sounds delicious. So I had a little joke, I was planning on doing, but after researching the cost, forget bout it. I just called Avis to found out rental cost of getting new Camaro for the day. I was going to show up to Cruise with everyones LX's & SRT8 and tell everyone, I trade my SRT8 in for a Camaro. I still have my temp tag from SRT8, so I was going to thrown that in back window. Nothing like crashing a party and being the lone black sheep ;D, Im sure I would have caught some grief & flack from you diehard Mopar/SRT8 guys. But at $200 a day, decide to bag that very costly prank. Heck they are nice cars, but not $200 bucks a day nice. Tell ya the truth, I dont think I would rent any car for that price, well maybe an exotic car  |

That would've been a good prank but we are going on a "cruise" Chris...
If you would've rented a Chevy, you'd be in the same boat as you started out in, stranded without a car! ;o)

That would've been a good prank but we are going on a "cruise" Chris... I guess I won't be cruising with you guys this weekend. My baby is not going anywhere. I need a new radiator. $500 and 2 hours or service which adds up to be about $700 for the whole deal. No more playing and mods for a long while now.

I guess I won't be cruising with you guys this weekend. My baby is not going anywhere. I need a new radiator. $500 and 2 hours or service which adds up to be about $700 for the whole deal. No more playing and mods for a long while now. Sucks to hear that man! What happened? Isnt your Charger under warranty still? Where did ya have it looked at? I know alot of people who adjusted fan settings lower on raditors were having issues, due to fan motor being worked overtime due to settings. I hear that most folks just have to replace burned out motor for Fan, not replace whole radiator. Well hope its nothing too serious and costly. Hey hitch a ride with someone, I think Richard is planning on going. Ride in his bad as$ Challenger. Beside you are our official picture taker. Dang, I really wanted to see your rims too  |

My car is no longer under warranty. I'm not really sure why this is happening. Something is definitely leaking though. I go through 1 gallon of coolant a week for the last 3 weeks. Before that, it was 1 gallon a month. Brent Brown just tops me off every time, but this is too much. The fans are still working perfectly fine. There might be a crack in the radiator, but I never find any fluids under my car which is really odd. It's definitely not burning the fluid because I don't smell the sweet radiator fluid smell.

Collapsed hose maybe, thats what it sounds like. is your temp gauge running normal temps. You did just replace your tstat recently, leak not coming from Killer Glass hose area right? and yes you would smell the coolant if it was leaking alot. I found out the hard way with my Acura Legend. Are our radiators that expensive, is that an aftermarket performance radiator? What additional 2 hrs labor cost is the stealership telling ya? |

$500 sounds like a radiator price from Karl. He has some beautiful steel ones in his shop.
