I was wondering if there was a way to disable the DvD video cut off while car is driving? Janell and I do a fair ammount of long distance driving and would be nice if she could watch a movie while on the road.

I don't know, but if you find a way I'd like to know as well.

Is this for the OEM dvd player from Dodge/Chrysler? If it is, you'll need a lockpick kit. You can find those online on ebay pretty cheap. The lockpick kit will bypass the system so that your movie can play even when you are driving.

Ahhh, it is for the OEM, Thnx Ben I'll see about getting one. I just figured it made no sence to have that in the car and still bring a portable player.

You have a VES newer than 06, you are able to get a lockpicks for your current system, that should do the trick. You can also add back cam too I believe if ya wanted to with certain lockpicks

I've got the factory in my 08, and yes I can watch movies while in park. Once I put it into gear the screen goes black, sound is still playing however.
Thanks Ben I'll have to try looking for the lock pick. Not sure about the camera, but that's good to know if I ever decide to.
