I have a 2.7 which didn't so i bought the oem ones.. My question is are they hard to wire? i was thinking of doing it myself but the paperwork that came with the oem ones said something about registering my vin number with starscan, in order for them to work, so i'm not sure if installing them is something i need to do at the dealer or if its something that I can do myself.

I wish I knew or could help you out Eddy but I have trouble plugging in a lamp when it comes to electrical stuff... I'll look around for some install threads for ya.

You can install it yourself but they wont work unless you take it to the dealer so they can activate it with the starscan.

It shouldn't be to expensive to just hook it up and get it going. they quoted me 120 to do the install, but I figured I should be able to do it myself. Hopefully its not too much to get it scanned.

Eddy, did the $120 include the install and the starscan? Thats a pretty good deal. The starscan alone will cost around $95-$100.

well it turns out the foglights I got from hinckley were for the 08-09 touring model so they didn't fit on my 07, they ordered the right ones but they won't be in until this wednesday. so they'll swap them out when they come in
