Great racing!
The LX & GS cars definitely came through each time they hit the track. but where were all the new Chally's & Caliber's at? I thought for sure people would be lined up to race some of the newer model MoPars.
Oh well, guess I can't really talk. I came to the track in my car but didn't race. I'll be ready to go next year. 3:91's + clutch fixin's & I'll be good to go.
congrats people, yah'll represented well!

Chris we missed you out at the track. there were 3 silver SRT8's in the 300 flavor, I think we needed to add some other color to the mix.
Unfortunately I didn't run any better but I think I had the same issue that you had the first time. I put it in manual shift mode but the computer didn't over ride so it hit the rev limiter and the car stumbled on my first run. I tried to launch in 1st and shift to auto but the shift lag took it to the rev limiter again and again my car staggered. So my two practice runs did me no good and I had to go with the time I dailed in last time which was 14.70. I raced Ben the first round and beat him because he red lit and then lost to one of the track professionals never running better than an 14.84. The one good thing I can take from the event was I was braking my car at the line holding the rpm's at 1200 or so and the car was launching noticably quicker I had two great reaction times .023(practice) and .019 (when I raced Ben) I guess I just need more practice or a limited slip diff. 1500.00... probably just more practice. talk to you later, Ed.

Hey Ed, You may have to get your Transmission control unit flashed, that should eliminate you hitting rev limiter. I think it the same issue Richard(2kuick) had in his charger, just an update. I would check with Dave (sc390) he works at Brent Brown, it wouldnt take long. PM him and ask the details.
And I priced the (Qualife) limited slip differential around $1350. Just wondering bout install, going to double check with Mike(fnfun). He owns Gears & Transmission shop or Karl at API. Still wanting to do the 1000HP halfshaft.

That's what Ben was telling me, I'll have to check into it. Sounds like you have big plans and a big wallet hope it all works out. One bad thing is you will have to change your phrase 2006 bone stock black 300 with floor mats to SEE YA!

Big plans yes, big wallet definetly not LOL Even when it is modded out, I will still leave bone stock. I would keep mods to a secret, and than tell everyone its still stock. Guess it must be a factory freak putting down 480RWHP. Thats my goal one day. All Motor too!!

Yeah, I know its not much, but I am being realistic. I decided to hold off on the stroker motor for another project once wife finishes Pharmacy school.... or if my stocks ever take off!! 480 RWHP is achievable with the new route, and easier on my pockets for sure. Eric I am sure your Cam is going to be alot more aggressive than mine... I am not looking to get the highest lift & duration. Idea is to keep it very streetable... Hopefully this project starts to come together for the new year.
