The fees are $20 to register and $25 per race event, per car. So if you attend all 5 races it will cost a total of $145 (including reg). As a club we have to have a minimum of 15 cars at each of the 5 races. As I understand it, between SLCLX and MOU we have the 15 and several that can only make a couple. The ones that can only make a couple would be great in case one of the regulars can't make it one night for some reason, so we maintain the 15 min. We can have more, just can't have less. We will also be collecting points as a club as there are club awards at the end of the season. Both Chris and I have been keeping the MOU club up to date on who is planning on attending.
I've confirmed that the official start time is 5pm. It is suggested that if you don't pre register they strongly recommend getting there at 2:30 race day to give you time to get registered before the event starts.
You just need to get there as early as you can. Reason is you want time to make time trial runs to figure out what time your going to use for your bracket time. It also helps you get used to the lights and track. The more time you give yourself, the more fun your going to have as you will not feel rushed.
I have been told that it is strongly suggested that you pre-register and not try and do it the night of the event, it's a mad house at that time. Everyone that plans on going needs to get registered ASAP!!! Once I get the Waiver Forms filled out for my daughter, I my form will be turned in!! ;D
Hope that helps!

I was looking at the registration form and was wondering how do we get a car number for the track? Plus who's name should we put down for our fearless leader? Is it Doug from MOU?

So let em know when ya are registering, that you're registering for Club Racing under Mopars of Utah. It should be under Doug name.

I went out to the track today and talked to Ron, the Track Manager.
He said it's important to get there as early as possible. You will have to finish the registration and get your tech inspection done before you will be permitted on the track. Time trails are scheduled to start at about 4:00pm. When I talked to Doug a couple of nights ago over the phone, he basically told me the same thing. Doug said to just put "Club Racing - Mopar of Utah" for the Class. Both Ron and Doug stressed to pre-register as it will make the check in process a whole lot faster.
I also found out that right after the Club Racing there is a drifting event that starts at 10:00pm. Your ticket for the Club Racing will also let you get in to watch the drifting. I have a guy in my office that will be participating in the drifting. I'm going for a ride! ;D

Well, we went to RMR to get registered. Took us almost 2 hours to get our registration cards for the season!! And you have to get tech checked each track day, so there was no reason to have the cars checked today.
If you are planning on attending and haven't registered, go before Friday.
Does anyone know what time we should be at RMR next Friday?

Thanks for the heads up i at least want to make to one of these. But WOW 2 hours, what did they have you doing? Most of the time was spent waiting for someone to help us. They were all very, very nice but very busy with a small staff. Hopefully today was an anomaly, but I would still recommend pre-registering if possible.

Hey Kellie,
Nice Mod list. Glad to hear you are all registered. I am going to be out of town May 1, so I will miss the first series of Club Racing. Good to know bout the pre registeration process. I will have mine done online, but we still have to show up 2 hrs before to have Tech check out car every race day?

We're registered and all ready to go!! Wow what a process to get my 16 year old daughter cleared to drive. I plan on taking off half a day for this first race, and will be there around 2:30pm. When I was there I talked to Ron (Drag Track Mgr) and he said the gates open at 2:30pm. Tech inspections will start at 3:00pm. The earlier you get there the closer to the front of the line you will be. If a lot of people show up at one time, then it could back things up. Time trials will start at 4:00pm. Ron said that we get two time trail passes (but hoping if we get through early we might be able to get in a third). It didn't take me that long to get the paperwork done at the office, but every time I went last week I was the only one in there. I imagine that this week it is going to be much busier. If you haven't registered, I can't stress it enough to do it before Friday. I have a feeling it's going to be a very busy office that day. Remember we need 15 total cars, if everyone shows up that has said they are then we'll be ok. In case you can't find the registration form here is the link, www.rmrracing.com/2009/drag/DragRegistration.htm.

Hey Kellie, when did you get your Killerglass? I had it installed before we left for Spring Fest. I still need to get the LED's installed.
