did you get one or two leds? I only had one and he gave me another led so I can light up the rest of the tube.

I got two red leds. They are attached, just not hooked to power. I just bought a 4 way remote from www.oznium.com/remote-switch , so I don't need to install a rocker switch. |

well guys i dont when im going to be able to race. i need tires and i have no money for gas or to enter and i just f**kin got a ticket racing a f**kin srt4, took him like nothin but 140 mph and a few lane changes, and after we slowed they cam flyin up fast i had two behind me and so did he. so not sure when i will even be out for anything now, and still no job yet so not sure how long i will even have it so ill keep posts up like once a week lettin ya know. see ya guys around

Not sure I buy that dude. Thats mandatory go directly to jail without passing go. No cop in their right mind would have let you back on the road after that. |

UHP caught me going 125 in a 75 on I-15 coming back from SEMA, but I was caught by a plane. They didn't put me down for reckless driving, just speeding. That's automatically a felony, but I got that wiped off. ;D

I try not to speed anymore. If you are really speeding, radar detectors are just early warning systems to let you know to pull over and be ready for a ticket. If you aren't going too much over usually you can get a break. But if they see the radar detector, you get no break. They know you are looking for them.

Ben, I agree about the radar detectors. My only issue with getting nailed at 140 is that ANYWHERE in the valley he could have been 140 would be double the posted limit. The freeways are 65mph. Double that would be mandatory impound, and at least 1 night in jail. Probably end up doing 30 in county after the court hearing.

Dang Erik, Real sorry to hear bout that. What were ya thinking 140+ in traffic, count your blessing ya didnt get arrested & car impounded. I hope everything works out for ya & it doesnt cost too much. I know the last thing ya want to hear after getting a harsh ticket like that is, Ya got to save those high speeds for the track were it is legal. I am just glad ya didnt hurt yourself or someone else racing on bald tires with no traction. Well it sounds like ya may have to get a lawyer & see if ya can get it reduce or do traffic school/ community service or something. You dont want your insurance to sky rocket or worst be dropped. It really aint worth it, Anything 10 over speed limit & I just back up off gas. Speeding tickets just eat into mod money and writing the check for a ticket just gets my blood boiling cause there is a million things I rather blow that money on. |
