Alright guys, and gals, the next club race is coming up on the 12th which is only three weeks away. Who's going to show up for this race? It would be nice to have more then five this time. I'm sure the weather will be better for this one. At one point we had quite a few that said they were planning on coming.

when's the next RMR event? I want to be able to make it to at least one this summer. I've done the twisty track on the LHM track and it handled pretty well, now I just need to know how well I do on the straightaway.

Scheduling it off so I can get there around 4pm, hopefully that will be enough time. Russ, Eric & Kellie is getting there around 4pm ample time to get car checked over & registered or do I need to allow more time? What time does the pre runs start?

4pm should be good if you already have a number, if not I would get there at 3pm. They may be better organized now, but the first time we were there it took 2 hours to get registered. On race night the weather didn't cooperate. And you can pay with a cc at the window, but the registration area only takes cash or checks.
I highly recommend NOT using shoe polish on your window, I can't get the stupid stuff cleaned off! Get registered and then go down the street to Walmart and get some vinyl numbers (I'm assuming they have these?).

Russ, Eric & Kellie is getting there around 4pm ample time to get car checked over & registered or do I need to allow more time? What time does the pre runs start? The earlier the better, but yea you should be ok. Worse case you'll make miss one time trial. Just make sure that you pre-register as that saves a lot of time. Time trails start at 4:00pm and the elimination rounds start at 7:00pm. Here are some other tips for those of you that will be there for the first time. When you pay your fee at the box office, make sure they give you your tech slip. As soon as you enter the gate, the Drag Tower will be on your left. Find a place to park, by the tower, and go up stairs to get your car number. Once you have both the tech slip and your car number you can proceed to the pit area. This will save you from having to make multiple trips back up to the office, like I had to do my first time. They kind of expect you to know what to do. There are some out buildings on the north east end of the pits that they do the tech inspection at. After tech the only other challenge is finding a place where we can all park and hang out together. The MOU guys are talking about a Bar-B-Q at this next race, no details yet however. Hope that helps!

I was talking with the MOU guys and they said to pick up window chalk as it cleans right off. I've not looked yet, but they said that you can pick it up at Wal-Mart.

If we can get them to post a note here it will be easier to figure out. How about it guys and gals, who's going to be at the next RMR Club Racing Event on the 12th?
