I thought depending on the interest level and size of the group, we could have One large traveling trophy for the Drag'in Rights Club Bracket series, that we could put the winners name, car, and time. Then in fall(Sept 2) they would bring back the trophy and defend the title and who ever won it for fall would have their name, car, time engraved on the plaque, and every year we could keep adding names to plaque/trophy.
Other smaller trophies could be; Quickest Reaction time ( best R/T) & quarter mile king to the fastest time of the night(which might possibly not be the winner of bracket series), other possible ones could be lowest 60 ft time or highest trap speed? Lets hear whatcha you think or any other categories you would like to see. I think we can get the large trophy for under 20 bucks and the smaller ones we can get for like 5 bucks or so. Just an idea, feedback welcomed.

I drove by Imagine Laser & Awards on 126s & 12w. Stopped by and checked out what they had and cost. They had a very nicly trim 3 wood colum, 28"-32" tall, with a cup on top and Checker flag base on bottom, which was 48 bucks. To add the plaque which he could do would be another 20 bucks. This would allow us to engrave winner name, car and time. So pretty much 3 lines per engraving plaque, at no additional cost, nor would there be a cost to keep adding, this is including in the initial set up cost of $20. Here is the website, www.imagineitlaserit.comAnother idea is maybe have someone with an old or extra piston laying around, weld that into somekinda trophy and we locate a plaque and engrave the little plates ourselves. Either way, I would be more than happy to chip in $20 myself. The other option if we wanted to buy one is, instead of having up chip in $2 on top of $20 entry fee, is to see if we can get particaptants to chip in $4 on top of the Entry fee, so the first run in May would cost no more than $24 per person. The small trophies were 5.95 each, but I figured we would only need like 3 or 4 tops, for individual categories, like Best R/T (which we should go ahead and give to Kira), another could be fastest trap speed, (which would most likely be a SRT4 or any Turbo/ Supercharger vehicle), Etc......

I bet we have a piston somewhere here. Mikes dad still has a bunch of his junk here just laying around waiting to be tossed in the trash. I will ask Mike tonight when he gets home. Are you buying the trophies now and having them engraved later?

Its all cleaned up and ready. Tanya, that is perfect! Could always use extra for individual awards, now we just got to work on some sponsorships so we can have awards/gifts. That cleaned up very nice, now just have to see about getting it engraved. Thanks again! BTW, not worried bout getting in trouble, I dont think the admins will ban me for too long but I could be wrong.
