The Predator is awesome. Greatest investment so far. Just putting the 91 oct CAI tune on my car, there was a very noticeable gain in acceleration.

Richard is right, going to have to adjust fan seeting to where ya want them to kick on at. I know I saw the most popular fan stting somewhere, I will try to look for em. Just know, that if you set your fan settings to low, your fans will run all the time, which could burn the fan motor. Just a small FYI

Unless you have a 6 spd challenger....it doesn't do much for these things because a lot of the performance gains, so I hear, are made in the timing of the transmission. But I'd rather bang through the gears any day (except for traffic to M&G's)

Since several months have gone by since the last post how do you all feel about the Diablo? Gordon has told me how he feels and how about the rest of you? Do you only change the tune when racing? For Ben and the 170 stat, what have you done over the winter and in every day driving? What other mod have any of you made that works well with the Diablo? In short, is it a mod for racing day only or do you use the tuning capabilities all the time?

I change it back for daily driver which boosts my mpg. With the 170 tstat, my car runs cooler which gets better mileage and runs better on the track. For winter driving, I changed the tune so the engine will stay warmer as I drive. For the tuner, a CAI and exhaust will be basic enough for you to get what you need out of your car. The car already has a lot of potential. The tuner just gives you the option to open it up.

The I leave mine on the 91 octane setting all the time. When we go to RMR I'll switch it to the 93 as I was putting higher octane gas in.

Hey Lee, Getting the Diablo is a must. Absolutely love mine and would say it certainly has waken up my car. I can tell the difference. I run my 91 Perf CAI tune at all time unless, I go on a long road trip, than I return it back to stock tune. I also bump my up to 93 tune at track but I am running higher octane gas as well. I haven't changed fan settings but will do this year when I get new tsat installed.

Apparently (according to forum word of mouth) DCX Depot has some good custom tunes for the Predator specific to your mods...they have shown some good numbers from the standard tunes. One Example: Stock: 5.4 sec to 5.6 sec (repeatedly) All mods including the Predator (CAI 91 octane): Best was a 4.87 sec Added DCX CustomTune: 4.72
I have asked them for a price on custom tuning...will post results once they respond.
Quote from Tim at DCX Depot; "There are many of the same gains with 6 speed cars as there are with auto cars. Improved throttle response, improved HP and Torque all through the RPM range. It really is one of the best bang for the bucks out there and will prove to become a necessity as mods are increased."
Of course he is selling Predators, but he has proven to be a stand up guy...
