Another option they are telling you about is the custom tune. In my opinion since you don't have that many engine mods is you can get hold of a guy by the screen name "toona" on the lxforums site and he can make you a custom tune and email it to you. That way you can get throttle booster, egr delete, & a modify parameters.

Good to know Tony! I purchased my predator as a package deal with my intake and 180° thermostat from bamachips and he includes lifetime custom tunes for free! Of course as Tony stated that would only go so far with basic bolt ins etc. Wouldn't do any good with any internals like cam etc. I didn't like my shift firmness with his initial tune sent him an email and 2 dayd later he emailed my new tune with better firmness and a much quicker shift!

I did find the throttle boost and all that, I just didn't know where it was at.

That way you can get throttle booster, egr delete, & a modify parameters. Johan(diablotoona) is the man! He has been tweaking my tune for the last 2 weeks and I am extremely impressed! I send him my logs, usually late at night, and he gets back to me the next morning with a new revision. It would have been dialed in much faster than 2 weeks, but I was slacking with my datalogging. Even his first revision was kickass compared to the stock tune. If anyone is looking for an email tuner, check him out. |

He definately knows his stuff for sure he did my very first tune and he was worth every penny. That's why he is good to have around when you do a cam and heads. He has a start up tune for every mod added.
