I'm thinking of adding the Halo lights and saw these online. They have the black housings which I want to switch to but the halo rings themselves look questionable. any thoughts?

They look nice but I have never heard of them. I am sure someone will chime in that may have heard or have some experience with them. Good luck!

Never heard of them but they look good. Not sure how bright or how long those halos would last. You can check out AAC or Flashtech to get some halos and paint your own housings black.

I'll keep looking. I have no preference as far as ccfl or led, but i want them to be noticeable and the housing black. Maybe I should do them in 2 parts? get the black housing and then add the Halos? Sorry if i don't make any sense. i had never really thought about all the possible modifications before the m&g earlier this month and now i'm seriously hooked.

Never heard of that brand. Most of the time the halos that come with those housings aren't very bright. Personally I would try to find something with projector headlights and then get AACStyle or Flashtech Halos of your color choice.

Yeah, I would agree with Ben, go for a HID/Xenon headlight with Halo. But if this company offers a exchange or good warranty plan, I would give em a try. I have thought bout Halo, but decide to leave my stock, so I dont have to much experience or knowledge when it comes to Halos. Have ya seen Ed's Halo on his silver 300 SRT8, they look great. I would PM him for more info.

Chris, any brands you recommend for the HIDs?

AACStyle makes some great HIDs, but they are pretty pricey. You could probably find some good HID kits on ebay for cheap.

Comparing the same HID with slim ballasts, AACStyle HIDs are about $320 and FlashTech are about $300. I get my stuff at AACStyle because I have a partial sponsorship, so I get discounts.
