Well that is a bummer, but at least they are willing to set aside 2 days next season for our club. I would say, stick with Fridays and see if we can get one in May when weather is still cool and one Sept before season ends, when weather is still cool. I think those are the 2 best months as far as DA/ Temp. Thats just my .2 cents. Hey Gordon, Mikey and Ed and the rest of the regulars are you guys planning on running heavy (street class). I am thinkin about it, but dont think I can commit to 9 -11 races. Probably good for one a month, so that would be around 5 total. Was club not profitable for them, what are they going to replace it with? Sounds like someone (ponch) has been hard at work Sounds like your ride is coming along fast! What shot of nos, are you planning on running? I assume you are getting a CRM tune with the new Cam? Tony, what cam did you go with? Anyhow, cant wait to see what she pulls in the 1/4! since you asked I so far have gotten a new tru fiber hood and got a Inertia Spartan Cam, 6.1 springs, 6.1 pushrods. Also I will be using a Zex Nitrous Kit with a 125 shot of nos w/ purge kit Oh yeah and stack bullett intake Crm from Stu @ inertia

I would like to race, but it depends on how much it would cost and what time it would be on friday. Great question! Last year Registeration is a one time fee of $20 and than to race is another $20. So the first time will be $40 and than everytime after is $20. Its alot of fun and certainly worth $20. gates usually open at 4pm I believe and runs wraps up shortly before 10p. Its starts at 6 officially I believe, but I will let Gordon give the exacts

I wonder what you would do in the 1/4 with that setup I dont know what times but I predict Tony will be hauling butt for 1320 feet ;D It might even be safe to say, he will run high 12.7- 13.0 flat with the Nitrious shot and that cam is pretty agressive too. You might need some more gearing though LOL Wonder where you can find some?

I'm going to the RMR Banquet tonight and I'll talk with Ron a little more. They aren't committing to giving us two nights yet, but I'll keep pushing.

Tell them we can get at least 10 cars between both clubs and hopefully a min of 15. I think the more people we can get to the first one, the more inclined they would be to getting us a 2nd night. We may have to recurit the Local Mustang & Camaro forums as I dont think we can get enough from SLCLX & MOU, which surprise me, with everyone doing all these performance mods just to never really open them up legally & safely in a controlled yet fun enviroment.

Sounds like there is a lot of people planning on attending. I would attend if I had the right equipment (V8) lol Its not about being the most powerful or the most horsepower and even the fastest. Its about being the most consistent. For example, Sean car is alot faster than mine, so I would get a 2 or 3 second head start and he has to run me down. We should cross the finish line about the same time or pretty close to it. My first year, I race a Mustang that was slower than me, but he advance cause I wasn't consistent and I broke out with a faster time than I dialed in. Anyway, you should come out Eric, its alot of fun! Besides, I think for the initial time trail runs, we would put V6 against V6, Rookies against Rookies, Season Pros like Mikey & Gordon against other season pros like Ben and Ed. But its super easy to get the hang of and you will be a season pro in no time, literally

But I will definately be out at the events supporting those who are racing.
